These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Tanker Wala website, customer app, driver app, WhatsApp / SMS channels, and related services (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Services

Tanker Wala helps customers book water tanker deliveries and helps suppliers / drivers fulfil those deliveries. Availability depends on service area, tanker capacity, and operational conditions.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate registration and contact details
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping OTP / login details secure
• Drivers and staff may only use accounts authorised by their supplier

3. Bookings and deliveries

• A booking request is an offer to purchase delivery subject to confirmation, pricing, and availability
• Delivery times are estimates and may change due to traffic, weather, water supply, or operational issues
• You must ensure safe access for the tanker and someone available to receive the delivery where required
• Quantity changes at delivery may affect the final amount payable

4. Pricing and payments

• Prices are shown before confirmation where the system has a matching rate
• Payment may be cash on delivery or online through PayFast / supported gateways
• Online prepaid orders may stay off live dispatch until payment is confirmed
• Failed, cancelled, or disputed payments may delay or cancel fulfilment

5. Cancellations and changes

You may request cancellation or changes through the app, portal, WhatsApp, or support channels. Late cancellations, no-shows, or inaccessible sites may still incur charges where work or dispatch has already started.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Services, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with operations
• Provide false addresses, payment information, or identity details
• Harass staff, drivers, or other users
• Use the Services for unlawful purposes

7. Driver obligations

Drivers must follow assigned trip instructions, protect customer information, collect COD only as directed, upload required proof, and use location sharing only for authorised delivery activity.

8. Intellectual property

Tanker Wala branding, software, content, and trademarks remain our property (or our licensors’). You may not copy, reverse engineer, or reuse them except as allowed by law or written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, exact delivery times, or that every requested quantity / area will always be available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tanker Wala is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our total liability for a claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
